Terms of use

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Foragic when you use the Foragic app or website. Please read them before creating an account or buying a plan. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who we are

Foragic is run by a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as Foragic. Contact us at [email protected].

What Foragic does

Foragic helps you identify items, find matching current eBay UK listings, check trade-in prices and prepare eBay listing drafts. Foragic does not show eBay sold prices; it can open eBay's own sold search for you.

Foragic is independent: it is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with eBay. Some eBay links are affiliate links, which may earn us a commission if you buy something.

Who can use Foragic

Your account

Keep your login details safe and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for your own use of the account and anyone you knowingly let use it — this doesn't remove our responsibility for a security failure on our side. Each account is for one person: don't share it or resell access, and keep your details up to date.

Identifications and prices

Identifications, matching listings, price suggestions, trade-in quotes and Coach tips come from automated tools and other services. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Current asking prices aren't evidence of completed sales, and trade-in prices depend on the exact item, its condition and the buyer's checks. We don't guarantee an identification, sale, trade-in offer or profit.

Check the item, condition, edition and prices before buying, listing or selling — the final decision is yours. This doesn't exclude our responsibility where we fail to meet our legal obligations.

Your eBay account

Connecting eBay lets Foragic do what you ask or authorise, such as showing your account information and creating listing drafts. Check every draft before publishing it. You stay responsible for your listings and for following eBay's rules and the law, including what you sell and how you describe it.

You can disconnect eBay in Foragic or in your eBay account settings. Disconnecting eBay doesn't cancel a Foragic subscription.

Plans and scan allowances

Free and paid plans include the monthly allowances shown on the plans page. Barcode, CeX, trade-in and Coach use don't count towards them.

The price, billing frequency and allowances are shown before you pay. Prices include any VAT that applies.

Payments and renewal

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.

For every payment method, Foragic is responsible for running the app and providing the service described here.

Cancelling your subscription

For App Store purchases: choose More > Your plan > Manage Apple subscriptions in Foragic, or open iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Foragic cannot cancel Apple's renewal for you. You can request an Apple purchase refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

For website purchases: you can stop your plan renewing at any time: on the plans page choose Change card, plan or cancel; for Onelink purchases you can also manage it at link.com; or email [email protected].

After an ordinary cancellation your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've paid for. We don't normally refund part of a period. This doesn't affect your cooling-off rights, your rights if the service is faulty, or the refunds described elsewhere in these terms.

Consumer cooling-off rights

If you subscribe as a consumer (mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you can cancel a new subscription within 14 days after the day you enter into it, without giving a reason.

Before paying, you ask us to start your plan straight away. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service provided before you told us, based on the subscription price. Starting to use the service doesn't, on its own, mean you lose the whole cooling-off right.

To cancel, email [email protected] clearly saying you want to cancel. You can use the form below but don't have to. We'll arrange any refund due within 14 days of being told, to the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, with no refund fee. Purchases sold through Onelink can also be cancelled through Onelink's support under its purchase terms.

Fair use

Don't use Foragic unlawfully, interfere with its security, overload it, scrape it, resell access or get round its eligibility checks, scan limits or other restrictions. Don't copy or reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where the law allows. We may take reasonable steps to protect the service from abuse; these don't give us a general right to take away paid allowances we've agreed to provide.

Your content

You keep any rights you have in the photos, titles, descriptions and other content you provide. You let us store, copy, process and share that content with the providers needed for the features you use, including sending listing content to eBay when you ask. Only upload content you have the right to use. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and how long content is kept.

Changes to plans and the service

We may make reasonable changes to keep Foragic secure, comply with the law, fix problems, improve features or respond to changes in services we rely on.

We'll give at least 30 days' notice before raising your subscription price or materially reducing your paid plan's benefits; price changes apply from a renewal date after that notice. We'll explain the change and how to cancel before it takes effect. If an urgent legal, security or third-party issue forces an earlier change, we'll explain it as soon as we reasonably can; if it materially reduces a paid service you've already paid for, you can end the affected subscription and get a refund for the unused period.

We aim to keep Foragic available, but maintenance, faults and outages at services we rely on can interrupt it. This doesn't affect your legal remedies if we fail to provide the service as agreed.

Our responsibility

We'll provide Foragic with reasonable care and skill. We're responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. A loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it might happen, or both of us knew it might happen when the agreement was made.

We don't promise that using Foragic will produce any particular business result. If you use it for business, we're not liable for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities or indirect business losses, as far as the law allows. We're not responsible for failures caused solely by eBay or another independent service where we're not at fault; this doesn't exclude responsibility for our own acts, omissions or legal obligations.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Suspension and account closure

You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your data. Cancel your paid subscription separately before deleting your account. In particular, deleting Foragic or your Foragic account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Any refund depends on the circumstances and the rights above.

We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, loss of eligibility, fraud or a security threat. For a minor breach that can be put right, we'll normally explain the problem and give you a reasonable chance to fix it first. We may act immediately where needed to protect users or the service, prevent fraud or comply with the law. We'll explain our decision unless that would be unlawful or compromise security, and you can ask us to review it.

If we permanently withdraw paid access and you're not at fault, we'll refund the unused part of your subscription. A breach doesn't automatically let us keep every unused payment; anything kept must be lawful and proportionate.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for the reasons described above. We'll tell you about important changes in the app or by email, normally at least 30 days before they apply. If a change disadvantages you, you can cancel before it takes effect, and any unused paid period affected by an early withdrawal of access will be refunded.

Contact and complaints

For questions, complaints or help with these terms, email [email protected]. We'll look into it and explain our response.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live and can bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing here restricts your right to go to court.
